Scott Klossner

For 30 years Scott has been in financial/operational leadership positions.  Starting with Big Box Retail in California in the late eighties he has lead finance and operations for companies in all growth stages.  Starting in retail as the CFO of a sporting goods company then transitioning in the early 2000’s to eCommerce and SAAS companies, he’s been able to help companies with successful outcomes.

He’s been a part of startups and companies as large as $750 million in revenues.  Gone through an IPO, multiple private equity placements and strategic and financial acquisitions.  He’s had to manage the requirements of public reporting and SOX compliance. And he’s even been involved with turnarounds and bankruptcy management. Managing teams to successful outcomes, in any industry or circumstance is his passion.

Industry-wise he’s been in sporting goods, home improvement, automotive, health care, software (SAAS) and education.  Having worked with companies in all stages he’s found himself in charge of human resource departments, business intelligence, merchandising, operations, logistics, IT, product, marketing and of course finance.

A strong advocate that to grow a company and create scale the number one priority is empowering and training people to make decisions.  With proper systems, processes and controls in place, empowered well-trained people is the key to success. Scalable growth is not an accident and success is not luck.

Scott is married and a father of three great children and lives in Utah where recreation is right outside your front door.
