Bruce Barfuss


Bruce Barfuss, CFO, developed his keen understanding of business management, accounting and finance through experience in the manufacturing, banking and dental industries where he worked for privately and publicly held companies. He is comfortable communicating with the general public, company investors, corporate boards of directors, regulatory agencies, management and employees as a result of his diverse and multi-level roles.

Bruce helped develop, implement and refine cost accounting, production and inventory control systems for Woodgrain Millwork operations in Idaho and Oregon. He was instrumental in the implementation of integrated software systems at Pioneer Bank and Idaho Banking Company as well as implementing forecasting software at Pacific Continental Bank.

Heavily involved in mergers and acquisition activity while in the banking industry, he further enhanced his acquisition experience while functioning as a CFO in the dental services industry as practices were added to a multi-office Group in Texas. Bruce gained his sound understanding of financial securities in his role as a Treasurer within the banking industry, managing portfolios as large as $100mm.

He graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with an accounting emphasis, is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and is a past Rotary Club President. He has volunteered his time and expertise for Idaho Business for Education and Boise State University’s Venture College. Most recently, Bruce has volunteered time and energy to candidates seeking employment services at the LDS Employment Resource Center in Boise. Bruce, and his wife Kelly, enjoy downhill skiing, road cycling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
