Adam Seay


Adam has over 17 years of accounting, finance, and operations experience in diverse industries, organizations, and work environments including fast growing companies and businesses in decline. He enjoys being a business partner with companies and helping them with strategy and solutions.

In public accounting Adam worked with clients in government, non-for-profit, construction, steel, manufacturing, oil and gas, software, and electronic services. He was Controller for a fast growing start-up (spinoff) internet switch and electronic service provider, a small wholesale distributor and service provider for “customer incentive” acquisition and reward programs, and a mid-size contract manufacturer providing Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and New Product Introduction (NPI) services. As a senior manager he directed all aspects of the accounting and finance department, engaged with other departments in business operations, created annual budgets, prepared financial and cash flow forecasts, administered system implementations, negotiated credit lines, set up lockboxes, and managed multiple HR functions.

Adam’s background also includes consulting and support roles at large public companies including HNI Corporation, Avery Dennison, and Applied Industrial Technologies. He provided services with ERP and consolidation system implementations, financial reporting, custom report writing, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), merger and acquisition integration, revenue recognition, product and service pricing, data warehouse creation, contract management, process improvement, broker and supplier rebate programs, warranty evaluation, and project management. He is an expert in Excel and has taught basic to advanced spreadsheet functions to employees at various levels of the organization.

Adam has a Master’s of Accounting and is a CPA. He likes spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, playing or watching sports, and an appreciation of cars.
